Happy 75th Birthday Sandra Milo

Born Elena Liliana Greco on March 11, 1935 in Tunis, Tunisia, she is the cousin of actor Yves Montand [1921-1991]. Now known as Sandra Milo she made her first film role was in 1955's “The Bachelor” directed by Alberto Sordi. For the next 10 years the sensuous actress would stimulate and delight male audiences in both Italian and French productions. After marrying Moris Ergas she wanted to retire but Federio Fellini convinced her to appear in his film “8 1/2” (1965) and “Juliet of the Spirits” (1966) to great reviews even winning the Italian Silver Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actress for both films. Sandra appeared in two Euro-westerns “Bang Bang Kid” (1967) and “Dead for a Dollar” in 1968. She retired again in 1968 but made a comeback in 1979. Now working on stage she toured Italy in 2006-2007 in the stage play “8 Women”. Today we celebrate Sandra Milo's 75th birthday.
